[Wylie Wong](http://www.wyliewong.com/) used to work at [news.com](http://news.com.com/), alongside other reporter luminaries such as [Stephen Shankland](http://news.com.com/Open-source+honchos+trash+software+patents/2100-7344_3-5559647.html) and [Martin Lamonica](http://news.com.com/Open-source+leader+steps+aside+at+industry+group/2100-7344_3-5558688.html). Does anyone cover beats better? Well [Ash](http://www.thestandard.com/movabletype/ashleevance/) is [up there](http://www.tennisherald.com/ashlee_vance.html) too, and [Byron](http://www.usatoday.com/money/media/2005-02-09-podcasting-usat-money-cover_x.htm), but you get the picture. These guys are solid. Anyhow, Wylie got fed up after the boom, suffering from [discombobulation](http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=discombobulation), or was it dotcombobulation… (he only made up one of those words…)

Anyway it seems that after he moved down to Phoenix with his new wife, Miiko (need [PR in Phoenix](http://www.bluesparkpr.com/miikomentz.shtml)?), he got busy with his ambition- to write a sports book. Here it is – [Giants: Where Have You Gone](http://www.sportspublishingllc.com/book.cfm?id=708)? I haven’t read it but i know for sure it will read well and be extremely thoroughly researched.
