Note to Android team &#8211; you need a central mechanism for this if you really want to provide carrier independence. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Anyway I knew the settings were out there somewhere, because I&#8217;d found them before. What made me chuckle this time was that I found the right settings on a <a href=\"http:\/\/stephesblog.blogs.com\/my_weblog\/2009\/03\/my-new-android-phone-and-att-wireless.html\">post<\/a> from an old pal &#8211; Stephe Walli.
