Here it is:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Cloud API proliferation<\/strong> will become a serious problem<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data as revenue<\/strong> \u2013 we\u2019re going to see datasets increasingly recognized as a serious, balance sheet-worthy asset<\/li>\n<li><strong>Developer target fragmentation<\/strong> will accelerate<\/li>\n<li>It\u2019s all about the <strong>analytics<\/strong> \u2013 metrics can be immensely important in maximizing returns, and to an extent, profits. In 2010 business intelligence will become less about the power user, and more about democratised access to the ad hoc query. In memory databases will underpin the trend.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Marketplaces<\/strong> will be table stakes<\/li>\n<li>New <strong>languages<\/strong> to watch: Clojure and Go<\/li>\n<li><strong>NoSQL<\/strong> will bid for mainstream acceptance<\/li>\n<li><strong>Location, location, location<\/strong>: the new frontier in app dev is location-aware applications and services<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/greenmonk.net\/i-wish-i-were-a-software-developer\/\"><strong>Augmented Reality<\/strong><\/a> will begin to make a mark in the mobile space.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Greener business processes<\/strong> through deeper instrumentation, more effective automation and orchestration<\/li>\n<li><strong>Google<\/strong> will significantly ramp up enterprise efforts<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hybrid Cloud<\/strong> and On Premise models for the enterprise \u2013 the Big Cloud Backlash will be in full effect in 2010, after all the hype in 2009.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SOA without the SOA<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A big upswing in <strong>enterprise demerger<\/strong> activity<\/li>\n<li><strong>New devices<\/strong>: Smart phones, tablets, toys, TVs, and other devices are now on the Internet.
