Maybe just a little developer time and attention. Don&#8217;t know what Mono is? Here is a <A href=\"http:\/\/www.redmonk.com\/sogrady\/archives\/000411.html\">good pointer<\/A> to what it is, and if you like&nbsp;hacking publications rather than code have at it, because we published under a derivative works allowed CreativeCommons license. Want to make an internal pitch to your managers? Go to it, make a RedMonk publication your own, <A href=\"http:\/\/www.redmonk.com\/sogrady\/archives\/000600.html\">a la EMC<\/A>.<\/P><P>Intel and HP are both interested in bridges between Microsoft and Linux and Java environments, especially when they make sense in an Itanium context. Well, Mono is just such a bridge, as Mainsoft is proving with <A href=\"http:\/\/www.mainsoft.com\/\">its architecture and approach<\/A>. If you have any ideas please let me know.&nbsp;I was thinking about Jeremy Allison, HP&#8217;s most effective open source evangelist of the last couple of years, but apparently <A href=\"http:\/\/trends.newsforge.com\/trends\/05\/04\/27\/1744224.shtml?tid=138&amp;tid=89&amp;tid=36\">he recently jumped over to Novell<\/A>&nbsp;(via <A href=\"http:\/\/blog.mecworks.com\/articles\/2005\/04\/28\/jeremy-allison-leaves-hp-to-go-to-novell\/\">Mecworks<\/A>)<\/P><P>And a friendly note to <A href=\"http:\/\/devresource.hp.com\/blogs\/reed\/\">Archie Reed<\/A>&nbsp;&#8211; if you&#8217;re <A href=\"http:\/\/h20276.www2.hp.com\/blogs\/reed\/2005\/04\/14\/1113498085000.html\">asking for help<\/A> don&#8217;t force a registration. If you&#8217;re still looking for feedback let me know though. But no, i don&#8217;t want a&nbsp;passport, and yes, i say the same thing about <A href=\"http:\/\/www.redmonk.com\/jgovernor\/archives\/000531.html\">Blogger users<\/A> with forced registrations. Note to IBM- you do the same annoying thing.
