But the real key to her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oreillynet.com\/pub\/a\/womenintech\/2007\/09\/17\/women-who-risk-making-women-in-technology-visible.html\">superb post<\/a> is to make us revisit our assumptions. It seems like we&#8217;re so locked into the &#8220;where are the women?&#8221; question that we stop seeing them, when they are right there in front of us all the time- a blindness that seems to affect both sexes. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/shesgeeky.org\/\">She&#8217;s Geeky<\/a> looks cool. Tara &#8211; if you want some input on dealing with industry analysts (interestingly enough one sector where women are well represented, but we really need some more racial diversity&#8230;) please let me know. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kaliyasblogs.net\/images\/shesgeeky.jpg\" alt=\"she's geeky\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Extra bonus advice: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.horsepigcow.com\/2007\/09\/19\/rule-1-for-spreading-love-dont-diss-the-competition\/\">Don&#8217;t Diss The Competition<\/a>. I have been trying to cut out the anti Gartner crap, and I think Tara&#8217;s on point here.
