Anyone that reads Monkchips know that i freely give [attention](http://www.micropersuasion.com/2005/03/why_attentionxm.html) to [Tim Bray](http://www.tbray.org/ongoing/). If Steve didn’t disapprove of “[thlinking](http://www.redmonk.com/jgovernor/archives/000555.html)” i would probably do [this](http://blogs.zdnet.com/Gillmor/index.php?p=74&part=rss&tag=feed&subj=zdblog).

You may also know i have been known to [send some traffic to interesting folks](http://www.redmonk.com/jgovernor/archives/000471.html) in the sphere. What i didn’t expect was what i just came across; which is, [me sending traffic to Tim](http://www.redmonk.com/jgovernor/archives/000471.html). That seems counterintuitive to me – he is a supernode, right? He’s on _everyone’s_ blogroll, isn’t he? Sometimes i don’t even include links when the folks are [A-list](http://www.sifry.com/alerts/archives/000301.html). But guess what – good insights are where you find them and we all need help with filtering. Cheers [Rob](http://www.f1fe.com/blog/archives/000155.html).

Oh yeah Tim -you asked me to remind you on my blog rather than email. It has to be a good idea to get [Coyote](https://coyote.dev.java.net/) Google-APIs (“goopies”?) ready sooner rather than later. that should be a design point, n’est pas? That is, making it easier to tie into the new crucial “APIs in the sky” – eBay, Amazon, flickr and all. The source materials of that great [API mashup](http://www.chrislott.org/article/1020/etech-05---rules-for-remixing-rael-dornfest) we’re going to enjoy over the next few years. And thanks a [Lott, Chris](http://www.chrislott.org/about/) for this post to what [another oh so influential Tim is thinking about](http://www.chrislott.org/article/1021/etech-05---tim-oreilly-and-the-oreilly-radar).

What is the insight? We live in a world of flattening hierarchies.
