These days its not enough to [build cool things](http://blog.ewherrmann.com/2007/10/08/majority-desk-get-your-wiihands-on/). You have to help people understand how you do it. [Synthesisers](http://www.redmonk.com/cote/2007/10/08/redmonktv-the-rise-of-the-designerdeveloper-mashup-developer/) build stuff, but they also teach people – they do so with declarative living. Here is a really good example, in which [Dan McWeeney](http://blog.danmcweeney.com/) [explains the ingredients to Majority Desk](http://blog.danmcweeney.com/48). Get Hands On. Get Your Wii Hands on. But first – brush up your Adobe Flex skills. Today’s great developers are [coding on the shoulders of giants](http://hackdiary.com/) (copyright Matt Biddulph). And that means sharing source code.
