[You no longer need an Adobe ID to download the Flex SDK](http://weblogs.macromedia.com/flexteam/archives/2007/04/freeing_the_fle.cfm). Not even an email address. Remember the law of small things from the [Tipping Point](http://www.gladwell.com/tippingpoint/index.html)? Removing barriers to entry is one of the small things that makes open source so frigging viral.
