Duane [makes the necessary points](http://technoracle.blogspot.com/2006/05/fan-just-got-smothered.html) well, and [points to others](http://technoracle.blogspot.com/2006/05/soa-20-makes-people-finally-speak-out.html) doing the same. Joe [weighs in](http://blogs.zdnet.com/service-oriented/?p=626).

Event-driven? Is that like Symposium? Maybe Gartner is looking for a new revenue stream, [suing people that use their new version number](http://blogs.zdnet.com/Orchant/index.php?p=112) once it becomes established… Ok maybe a small diss… 😉
