Its much better to follow the [fun](http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/wlg/7058). That’s a RedMonk value. We want to have fun with our clients and work on fun projects with good smart people that we can have a laugh with. We don’t fire clients that don’t like fun, but i have to say we don’t pick up that many…

This century [everything is flat](http://www.thomaslfriedman.com/worldisflat.htm); “Follow the Sun” is a given whatever your industry; its been commoditized. So let’s follow the fun. That’s where creativity and innovation are likely to be anyway. Follow the Sun is not a differentiator. Follow the Fun is.

And on the subject of fun, i seem to have discovered another [jaunty hat angle](http://www.redmonk.com/jgovernor/archives/000634.html) for my collection.

Oh yeah, its weird how things work out. You know how you asked what tagging could do? Well the flickr search engine was down when i went to hunt down this photo again. So how did i find you? Where did i look?
