Well, not really that’s really a Gillmor-ism- but you really must check out Spiceworks, as written up by Cote. It is an asset management tool. Its a free ad supported incredibly easy tool to use. Download it and five minutes later you will know that your hard drive is down to less than 25%, and your AV is out of date.

Its amazingly buzzword compliant – free, ad supported, looks lovely and most importantly written in Ruby On Rails.
