Having written numerous blogs on the subject of Microsoft and its [difficulties](http://www.redmonk.com/jgovernor/archives/000169.html) getting products out the door, and listened to [related](http://radio.weblogs.com/0001011/2004/12/12.html#a8865) web [chatter](http://weblogs.asp.net/fbouma/archive/2004/12/12/280171.aspx), i had to call out this [dig](http://www.infoworld.com/article/04/12/10/50OPcringely_1.html) from Infoworld’s [Robert X. Cringely](http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/6.12/cringely.html?pg=3) column.

_Last week, **Redmond Van Winkle** awoke from a 20-year nap and discovered the blogosphere. But Microsoft’s newly minted blogging service, MSN Spaces, ran into problems almost immediately._
