Hopefully this aids any readers in addition to the <a href=\"http:\/\/redmonk.com\/sogrady\/2015\/03\/27\/donnie\/\">next RedMonk analyst<\/a> (we&#8217;re hiring!) in understanding the historical context.<\/p>\n<h3>2008<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/redmonk.com\/sogrady\/2008\/03\/16\/open-source-licensing-obsolete-or-of-importance\/\">Open source licensing: obsolete or of importance?<\/a>&#8221; on\u00a0<strong>OSS licensing\u00a0<\/strong>strategy.<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/redmonk.com\/sogrady\/2008\/04\/11\/the-friday-grab-bag-x300-github-gae-and-more\/\">The Friday grab bag: X300, Github, GAE, and more<\/a>&#8221; on\u00a0<strong>Github<\/strong>.
