Here are some:<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2010\/04\/26\/yammer-doubling-revenue-every-quarter-no-fear-of-salesforce\/\">Private Twitter<\/a><\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>\n  Yammer now has <b>70,000 corporate clients<\/b>, and <b>800,000+ total seats (users)<\/b>. At least <b>1,000 of those companies are paying for the product<\/b>, and Sacks says <b>10%-15% of seats are converting to paid<\/b>. <b>70% of Fortune 500 companies are using Yammer<\/b>, says Sacks. Paying customers include Cisco, Nationwide, AstraZeneca, Alcatel-Lucent, Sungard and Molson Coors.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theregister.co.uk\/2010\/04\/28\/canonical_ubuntu_isv_support\/\">Ubuntu Growth<\/a><\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>\n  [A]s newly appointed chief executive officer at Canonical Jane Silber told <i>El Reg<\/i> back in March, the i<b>nstalled base of Ubuntu users is estimated at around 10 million users<\/b>. That&#8217;s <b>up from 6 million three years ago<\/b>, and by some indirect measurements, Canonical can gather without snooping around on people&#8217;s machines, <b>the base is growing at 10 per cent per month<\/b>.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theregister.co.uk\/2010\/04\/26\/ubuntu_server_drilldown\/\">Ubuntu\/Eucalyptus Driven Clouds<\/a><\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>\n    According to Matt Asay, who joined [Canonical] back in February as chief operating officer, the company has <b>more than 12,000 deployments of UEC<\/b>, and it&#8217;s seeing <b>about 200 downloads per day<\/b> at this point.\n  <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mobileindustryreview.com\/2010\/04\/lonely-planet-hits-3m-downloads-thanks-to-iceland-volcano-all-32-city-guides-now-2-99-til-30th-april.html\">Free does that&#8230;<\/a><\/h2>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Now you\u2019ve been following my Lonely Planet coverage, over the past week, right? As the chart below shows, <b>the funding-to-exit ratio for software and Internet start-ups was roughly 4 to 1,<\/b> a surprisingly high statistic.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/dealarchitect.typepad.com\/deal_architect\/2010\/04\/being-pulled-kicking-and-screaming-across-the-chasm.html\">Voting with your wallet<\/a><\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>\n  [I]n IT, in analysis for my upcoming book, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thenewpolymath.com\/dev\/index.php\"><i>The New Polymath<\/i><\/a>, I found <b>we spend over 50% of our budgets with the top 25 infotech and telecom vendors<\/b>.
