Kotlikoff<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/richmedia.lse.ac.uk\/publicLecturesAndEvents\/20100217_1800_jimmyStewartIsDead.mp3\">direct MP3 download here<\/a>). I&#8217;ve only listened to half of it, but it&#8217;s been fun so far. I&#8217;m no economist, or macro guy when it comes to The Financial Crater, but I like this guy&#8217;s take: the basic problem with all that banking stuff wasn&#8217;t the tools, it was the immoral and inept leadership and management &#8211; the &#8220;hucksters&#8221; running the show, and the overall context they created. He lays it out in a way that makes you think, &#8220;oh, of course that wasn&#8217;t &#8211; and isn&#8217;t &#8211; going to work out well for us dumb chickens.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a nice, simple story.
