Yesterday afternoon I got into San Francisco for MuleCon 2008<\/a>. Though I missed most of the first day, I managed to catch the cocktail reception and meet some folks face-to-face, like ESBery super-star<\/a> Eugene Ciurana<\/a>, CohesiveFT<\/a>‘s Alexis Richardson and, of course, MuleSource’s Dave Rosenberg<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cocktails are usually of nothing of tech<\/i> substances, or completely off the record (my personal policy is that once booze is served, everything is under booze-DA), so I have nothing Mule-y to report.<\/p>\n

However, there are some odd sightings so far. First:<\/p>\n

\n\"Potato<\/a><\/p>\n

On the way to the bar after eating at House of Nanking<\/a>, one of my friends spotted this “Potato Dress” in a window. It seems like it’d be good for hiding out in cellars. No to leave the pantsless man-set out, there was also the so called “Wood Shirt.”<\/a><\/p>\n

Knowing Dave’s weakness when it comes to muffins<\/a>, I’ve been eager to see The Muffin Man in action. Your correspondent, dear readers, was blessed with a particularly unique set of muffins with which to observe The Muffin Man in action, the so called “Muffin Loafs”:<\/p>\n
