I really need to do this more regularly, and at some point I’ll look at them over time, but for your edification, my browser share numbers. November 6th to December 6th.

1. Firefox: 50.24%
2. Internet Explorer: 17.44%
3. Safari: 12.90%
4. Chrome: 11.88%
5. Mozilla: 2.30%

So yes, I think it’s safe to say that the audience around here is self-selecting. To illustrate just how self-selecting, the top ten operating systems:

1. Windows: 53.92%
2. Macintosh: 24.17%
3. Linux: 16.97%
4. iPhone: 2.95%
5. SunOS: 0.55%
6. NA: 0.42%
7. iPod: 0.37%
8. Android: 0.35%
9. Blackberry: 0.11%
10. SymbianOS: 0.09%

The fact that none of the above surprises me – Chrome’s ~12% share or Linux’s 17% included – should tell you quite a lot about who we write for around here.
