FYI - I ran TimeVault for about 6 weeks but decided it was over kill and too much work to filter out all the transient / frequent updating files. I am very happy with daily snapshots via "Simpe Linux Backup". I wish it has a bit more control over backups so I could run a couple times each day but otherwise it is clean, fast, and easy to use (both to run and recover with).
