Remembering a Friend

Three years ago in February, my friend and former teammate Sean Bowler passed away at the age of 29, felled by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. He was survived by his wonderful family, and his girlfriend Adena Herskovitz who was by his side through the very end.

As Yahoo Calendar reminded me this morning, today would have been his 32nd birthday, and I would not have the day pass unremarked upon.

He was one of the finest people I have ever known.

  4. Steve, by the way please look for an e-mail I sent your way a week or so ago.

I’m trying to help the widow of a fallen soldier honor his memory and would greatly appreciate your help.
