I know exactly what you mean on the sleep, too; when I was headed to Grand Rapids, MI, back in March, I got about three hours' sleep in some crappy Days Inn in Elizabethtown, Ky. Part of me argued that I might as well have not stopped, but the rest of me was very happy that, for a couple hours, I was getting some rest. I <em>think</em> I got a REM cycle in before I had to get moving again. Hell yeah for crazy solo road trips.
