As the guy who led the PRspeak for emusic for two years, I can say that Daring Fireball
didn’t go nearly far enough in pointing out the hypocrisy of the toe-licking DRM vendors and the slimey major content owners.
They should be pointing out that Jobs’ own iTunes is one of the MOST successful examples of a closed DRM system — and now _even_ Apple wants to abandon it as consumer unfriendly and too much of a technical headache to support!
Despite the attempted revisionism going on, Steve Jobs hands are hardly clean…
