I knew something was up when the folks from JetBlue were trying to cram everyone on the plane so that they could leave 10 minutes early, so I can’t say that I was shocked when they halted boarding midstream due to a ground stop at JFK. Information at this point is minimum delay of an hour, could be as many as two. In terms of scheduling, this has no real impact on me as everything tonight is flexible. The problem is that if we’re delayed here too long, we may run afoul of the real storm which is scheduled to hit New York tonight. Should that happen, I’ll probably cancel my morning meetings tomorrow and hop this same flight tomorrow. Beats sitting around DIA for hours on end.
