Some of you have probably seen the rumor going around that Microsoft and Novell are tieing up in a very interesting deal. Well, now that it’s past 2 PM PT I can confirm that it’s true.
Wagged’s Rob Curran and Microsoft’s Jason Matusow were kind enough to get me on the phone prior to the official announcement so I have a decent sense of some of the logistics and implications – though there’s a lot that I either don’t know or forgot to ask. I’ll definitely have more on the news later, and I don’t want this announcement to obscure the fact that Startup Camp has been great so far. You’ll hear it all later.
