Those of you who suggested (you know who you are) that I should shave with plain old hotel soap while on the road (damn the ban on liquids) should be afraid. Very afraid. I know where you live and I’m coming for you. I used soap this morning and I feel like, as Beck says, that I shaved my face with some mace in the dark. That, or some very rough sandpaper.

olive oil. also stop usually regular shaving cream and try the “kiss your face” shaving stuff — way better than puffy cream
kiss your face is what i use at home - it’s awesome. the problem is that i’m not allowed to take any liquid like product on the road.
hence the horrendous usage of soap.
Shaving is overrated.
I use shaving gel normally, but on my last trip I was seriously toying with buying a travel battery shaver. The alternative is to take a jiffybag, buy some stuff and post it home I guess!
Also, try shaving straight out of the shower. Closer than a blade or your water back
That’s what you get for trusting the truck driving neighbors downstairs…
Sam: so i hear
Jon: i actually shave in the shower, and it still gets me. i’m hoping that hotels will eventually figure out the new airline rules and start stocking shaving cream.
Cote’: you’re on the list, buddy. i’m coming for you
Hey - I’m with Cote’ - quit the shaving game altogether - the occasional trim with clippers (at home or salon) once a month and you’re cool. While you’re there just run the clippers over the head, and you don’t have to worry too much about grooming tools either … you’re going to WAY too much effort Stephen.
I just remembered Cote’ actually still shaves the edges - thereby losing most of the benefits of a beard!
BTW - I don’t know what anyone else is seeing in your Google ads, but I’m being offered a pubic hair shave and a bikini shave - I’d definitely need some product before trying that - alcoholic and taken internally!
Ric: can’t rock the beard. just can’t do it. apologies for the ads, tho i have to admit i’m chuckling over it
