Ten years ago the desk of every IBM executive above a certain level had a paper copy of the Airline Travel Guide (ATG). New copies arrived every few weeks.
It must have been a good business … but I haven’t seen a copy for years.
I now average less than one piece of postal mail a month. I used to get trade rags like PC Week and such. I could skim over them, and I think the ads had more impact then when now they must be viewed via the web.
