Another Day, Another 1and1 Outage

Sigh. For those of you wondering why a.) you couldn’t visit our site last night, or b.) why you haven’t heard from me since I hit RSDC, I regret to confirm that, yes, 1and1 knocked us offline yet again. To make matters worse, it wasn’t just MySQL this time but Apache too. What fun.

There is good news on this morning of the beast, however – Hicks is on the way:

Now I just need to hope that the preconfigured network settings work as expected, and we’ll be off to the races.
