Forgot to mention that my pictures – such as they are – from DebConf and JavaOne are now up in Flickr. I didn’t take more in San Francisco because my camera was out of juice.
On a totally unrelated note, does anyone know if it’s possible to send additional keystrokes on a SkypeOut call? I’m asking because the hotel I’m staying in is wreaking havoc on my Cingular connectivity – and a couple of people have left messages for me that I can’t currently retrieve. Given that Skype recently made it possible to make calls to regular lines for free, I thought I’d try that, and sure enough it connected to my voicemail fine, but I can’t figure out how to send over a # and my voicemail PIN. Anybody know how to do that, or if it’s even possible?

If you haven’t found out the answer to your Skype question yet, it’s “yes”. Once you’ve dialed the call, just click back on the “Dial” tab and click # or whatever other virtual keys that you need to access your voice mail. I do this all the time when I’m travelling somewhere where my mobile roaming fees are high.
