Speaking of weather, I just eard on the news, after one year of water shortage, today was we broke the last 2 years record of rainy days and, tomorrow, a tropical storm will do a near miss in Portugal (first time that this happens since I remember).

It may be snowing now, but unlike New England (snow on ice on rain on snow), it'll be sunny by Wednesday.

I take offense to the "fishing with dogs" comment. I am a damn good fisherman... All that running around left me broken yesterday though. I am almost six years old.

Ah, welcome to Denver. October storms aren't all that unusual, but then again, nor are 60 degree days in January. So you just can't get too hung up on seasonality; pretty much anything is possible on any given day. (And wait until you see the snow in June -- it just comes packed in these nasty ice-balls called "hail".)

Dude, Fall is so Web 1.0. It's total <br>!

Web 2.0 is all about Summer, Spring, and Winter. Come 3.0, we'll hoprfully cut out Summer. Eventually, it'll just be Old Man Cold and The Pretty Miss.

Alex: this might actually be preferable in some geographies. most of New England, for example, views the changing leaves with a mixture of anticipation and dread: the former because of the pretty forests, the latter because of the hordes of tourists. one would imagine that if the season were reduced to three days you'd see less out-of-staters ;)

Bill: i dunno; i raised with seasons and came to appreciate them all the more while living in New England. having perfect weather all the time would probably screw me up ;)

Matt: well, at least she was flying home Tues. if it was Mon i think she'd be spending a loooong time at the airport ;)
