But I’m pretty sure we couldn’t have done any worse with one of those local car dealership-style ads than what the professionals trotted out tonight. Apart from one or two (the Bud Light pilot jumping after the beer was amusing), the ads were just awful. So folks abroad who either couldn’t get the game and/or didn’t care, trust me - you missed no good ads. Game was ok though. Congrats to the Pats fans out there, and before anyone asks, no, I’m not one. I’m a bigtime Sox fan, and occasional Bruins/Celtics fan, but not the Pats.

C’mon, those Ameriquest ads were pretty good. The one with the cat and the spaghetti sauce in particular…
josh: yeah, they did overplay those big time, but i do love the car. if it wasn’t rear wheel drive i’d definitely get one.
andy: yeah, not bad. the one in the store was mediocre, but the cat one was good.
in general, however, the ads were pretty abysmal considering the budget that goes into them.
