Two quick items regarding this space:
1. I don’t know about you, but I got tired of typing the full redmonk.com/sogrady URL over and over, so I’ve acquired tecosystems.org (.com was unavailable) and pointed it to this space. So for the distinct minority of you that are visiting using a browser (rather than an aggregator), feel free to use that as a shortcut if you like. The old link will still work, of course.
2. As many of you are now aware, Bloglines is having some issues calculating the total subscriber numbers for this space, due to the fact that many of you have – quite understandably – subscribed to one of several feeds that I’ve provided. Subsequent to the introduction of those feeds, however, I’ve begun redirecting all of you transparently using a .htaccess file to my Feedburner feed, which is at http://feeds.feedburner.com/tecosystems.
Now I have no intention of forcing anyone to switch, and you all may continue to subscribe to whatever feed you have set up. But if it’s not too much trouble, I’d love for everyone to move over to the Feedburner feed so that a.) I can get an accurate count on subscribers in Bloglines, and more importantly, b.) can begin weaning people off feeds that I may want to retire in the future.
So again – it’s neither required nor mandatory, and there are no imminent changes planned to my feed addresses – but an update to the new address would be much appreciated. And before anyone asks, yes, I do recognize that this means I’ll be somewhat beholden to Feedburner, but I can live that – they’ve earned that trust.
