Anybody Know of a Hosting Deal Better Than This?

Wondering if any of you have any suggestions for me for some very basic personal hosting needs (Apache, blog, Gallery, etc). Just found this one – $29/month for a ServerPronto box, and so far it’s the best I’ve seen.

I’ve been in the market for a host for a good managed server or colo deal for a while. This isn’t for RedMonk – we’re very happy with 1and1 – but just for a personal box to play around with. I keep running out of space on my current host, and that seems an absurdly good price for a dedicated box. For about 10 bucks more than AOL dialup, you get your own machine.

Alternately, I have an old two way Power Edge sitting around that I’d like to colo – as few hosts provide Gentoo – but in most cases that’s even more than hosting. It’s weird b/c all I’d need would be bandwidth and an IP, but colo seems to be a bad deal.

Anyhow, if anyone knows of a better deal, would appreciate the tip.
