So Mark Fletcher of Bloglines.com broke the [news](http://www.wingedpig.com/archives/000178.html) that Bloglines will support syncing with offline clients such as [NetNewsWire](http://www.ranchero.com) (which I hear nothing but good things about), [FeedDemon](http://www.feeddemon.com) and [Blogbot](http://www.blogbot.com).

This is great news, because the only real complaint I have with Bloglines is that when I’m travelling I lose access to my blog content.

The catch? The clients supported in this announcement are Mac and Windows only, unfortunately. Here’s hoping that the [Straw](http://www.nongnu.org/straw/) or Blam! folks pick up on the exposure of Bloglines via web services.

When I can seamlessly roam from online to offline on my Linux desktop, with my read/unread items synced, my ability to function in a disconnected fashion will be significantly improved.

Cheers, Bloglines!
