Bloglines Reader Syncing

So Mark Fletcher of Bloglines.com broke the news that Bloglines will support syncing with offline clients such as NetNewsWire (which I hear nothing but good things about), FeedDemon and Blogbot.

This is great news, because the only real complaint I have with Bloglines is that when I’m travelling I lose access to my blog content.

The catch? The clients supported in this announcement are Mac and Windows only, unfortunately. Here’s hoping that the Straw or Blam! folks pick up on the exposure of Bloglines via web services.

When I can seamlessly roam from online to offline on my Linux desktop, with my read/unread items synced, my ability to function in a disconnected fashion will be significantly improved.

Cheers, Bloglines!
