A Link Blog (sort of) in 3 Easy Steps

Don’t know what a link blog is? Check out Scoble’s here. How to design and create a link blog in 3 easy steps.

  1. Get a blog. You can do it yourself (Movable Type, Radio Userland, Roller, WordPress, etc) or have someone do it for you (Blogger, Typepad, etc)
  2. Get a del.icio.us or Furl account to capture your links and comments
  3. Get a Feedburner account and follow the directions to a.) point your feed subscribers to Feedburner and b.) splice in your links

What’s the catch? Well, your link blog is more of a link feed, as the links never actually make it into your blog – only the blog’s feed. I’m inserting my del.icio.us links into the tecosystems feed as above, so you can see what I’m browsing, but only feed subscribers will get it. Maybe someone has a way to backport the feeds into the blog, but in the meantime this couldn’t be any simpler. Also, all of the above can be had for free, at least for now. Enjoy.
