Travel: OSBC

I’m on my way to San Francisco for OSBC today and tomorrow. Tomorrow afternoon (from 3-4PM PST) I’ll have the pleasure of moderating a panel on SOA, open source, and “the next generation data center.”

Thanks to Raven, I’ll be at the 451 OSBC Twitter-free zone VIP Reception cocktail party bashola tonight as well. He tells me there’s a “what happens at the bashola stays at the bashola” policy, so I’ll just tell you how the drinks and snacks are…if that! But, seriously, I appreciate the invite ;>

  1. Would it be too much to ask if you were to add someone to your panel who is a fulltime employee of a Fortune enterprise and not fill it exclusively with vendors?

  2. Looking forward to seeing you tonight, and to make sure you're following through on the font thing 😉

  3. James: It would have been great to have one more enterprise/end-user panelist, but I'm gunning for Akash to fill the role of two. I'm sure Sanjiva and Dave will have plenty interesting to say as well.

Glynn: I'll get to the font thing, no problem. In fact, I'm thinking of just switching to the "standard" RedMonk blog theme. Maybe lowering the font would work out easier. We'll see.
